Alameda Garden

For my eagle project, I worked with Robin, a staff member at the Alameda Homeless Shelter to give the residents a garden which was secure during the night. The garden was lockable during the night and mobile. After a couple months CAD using Autodesk Inventor, I finished my model, and here it is!

Every part down to the bolt was there. And now I just had to assemble my army of fellow Boy Scouts to build it.

I printed out the blueprints and we cut and drilled and bolted the contraption together. Not bad for my first shot at construction.

The model was designed to be easily dissassembled for transport and reassembled at the shelter.

Overall, I hope their lives are enriched from their gardening experience. I wish all the residents luck on their recovery and I thank the Alameda Homeless Shelter for their service.
